Favorite Flicks

Recently I was asked what my favorite movies are. That’s a tough question to answer because each movie fits into its own category. It’s hard to say that a sports movie is better than one with action or vice versa. Here are my favorite flicks of all time and the ones from my DVD collection [...]

Hail To The Victors

The Michigan Wolverines hosted the Michigan State Spartans yesterday in the state’s greatest football rivalry. It was the greatest Michigan games I’ve ever watched. The team with the greatest fight song and most recognizable helmets in football came out on top 45-37 in a thrilling 3 OT game.

In The Zone

Ah Ah, I know what you’re thinking. ‘Did he fire six shots or only five?’ Now, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is the .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and could blow your head clean off, you’ve got [...]

Card Protector

Found a site with sweet card protectors and dealer buttons. I want one with big slick and my initials (or maybe the word “FOLD”) for when I play in home games or at casinos.

WPBT Logo

Maudie over at Poker Perspectives has made a great World Poker Blogger Tour logo. I’ve only competed in one event so far, but I’m proud to display the logo as the current champ!

Sit & Go

I’m getting really good at finishing 4th-6th in the Sit & Go Tournaments on Party Poker. In fact, I haven’t finished higher or lower than that in one yet.

New Yahoo!

Yahoo! has released a new design on their front page. I think I like it. Seems a lot “cleaner” to me.

New View

Just bought a new 17 inch flat panel monitor. After $110 in rebates, it’s one hell of a deal!

New View

I just took my original starting bankroll of $300 and bought a 17 inch flat panel monitor. So now my poker bankroll is all winnings! Couldn’t beat the deal with $110 back in rebates.

Kyocera Battery Recall

Kyocera is having problems with the batteries in some of their phones. See if you have one with a problem. I just requested my new battery.

WordPress Comment SPAM Plugins

I’m now using two plugins to help me combat comment SPAM. The first is Kitten’s Spam Words, which gives you an easy way to delete comments and mark them as spam at the same time. This helps to create a list of comment spam words in WordPress so that further comments will automatically be held [...]

SPAM Comments

After some recent flooding of SPAM comments on all of my blogs I’ve started to take some preventive measures. I have much mor work to do, I’ve started flagging a few things. In the future, if you notice that when you comment it doesn’t show up right away, you’ve probably used a word or something [...]

Bandwidth Hog

By the end of the month I will have used over 100 GB of bandwidth between the 3 web sites running on my dedicated server. Yes, I said GB!

Play On Party Poker Now!

For the month of October Party Poker is running a special promotion for all affiliates. If I get at least one more person to sign up and deposit money before the end of the month, I’ll get a nice bonus. In addition to the $25 bonus you get when signing up for Party Poker with [...]

Tim McCarver vs. John Madden

I’m having a hard time deciding which announcer gets on my nerves more.
Tim McCarver

“I got my ’splitter’ and my ‘plate’ mixed up and kind of called it a ’splate.’ It’s a new word I made up.”
“A walk is as good as a home run.”
“If the double play is a pitcher’s best friend, what is [...]

If Luck Weren't Involved…

I guess if luck weren’t involved, I’d win every hand.
Phil Hellmuth
I think I know where Phil was coming from with that quote. After the big tourney win I was on the poker high of my short poker life. I was invincible. Especially to the fish on Party Poker. Or so I thought!

I just realized that all of the blogs in my Weblogs I Read section are powered by WordPress.

Star Wars Battlefront

After all of the hype I had heard/read about Star Wars Battlefront, I’m very disappointed. The game is pretty weak IMHO. All you do is run around shooting the enemy and try not to shoot the dumbasses on your team who keep running in your line of fire. And then you do it again. And [...]

Google For President

What if Google ran the United States?
