ChapStick Stains

I just spent the last 15 minutes putting Spray ‘n Wash on 2 pairs of pants, a pair of shorts, and 3 polo shirts. Some moron decided to leave Berry ChapStick in his pants pocket, so a whole load of clothes has pink stains on them. I’m probably out at least $100 because of that damn $3 ChapStick!

Ouch. I had a similar episode but the culprit was a stick of gum.

Well, I threw out 3 polo shirts last night, some t-shirts, a few socks, and will most likely have to pitch one pair of dress pants. I always take everything out of my pockets when I take off a pair of pants or shorts. Always…except this time!

    Hi,

You people are really nice and I enjoyed hearing all of your unique stories, however I don’t really care. Does anyone know how chap-stick can be removed?

    Thanks,

    Bengalena

Use WD-40. soak the stain, rub it in and wash it again.

I’ve heard dishsoap (plain ‘ol dishsoap) works… going to try it on the batch that I just ruined! Good luck!

I decided to just throw everything out that had a big stain on it. After washing the clothes twice I highly doubt anything was going to take care of it after that.
