Tiger Woods Uses a Weighted Golf Club

He has a specific plan for what he wants to accomplish in every practice session, a plan he comes up with the night before when he’s home swinging a weighted club.
12 Things Tiger Taught Me
I’ve bought a weighted club earlier this summer and just love it. I use it to warm up before I play [...]

Send Text Messages to Email

It baffles me how few people realize you can send a text message from your cell phone directly to your email address. Instead of typing in a phone number, just enter the email address. I use this nifty little feature all the time to send myself reminders or to get photos off of my phone. [...]

Plugging Greens

It rained for a good 3 or 4 hours in the Saginaw area, so the plans I had to play 9 holes with a few friends were canceled. While sitting at home after dinner I realized the sun came out and it cleared up. Sidewalks and driveways were starting to dry out. So I jumped [...]

Jeff Madsen Who?

Jeff Madsen is a 21-year-old poker player from Los Angeles, CA and he’s dominating the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP). This year is obviously his first WSOP and he’s already won 2 bracelets and finished 3rd in another event. Early this morning he made yet another final table and will go for gold bracelet [...]

Spell rhythm

I can never figure out how to spell the word rhythm. Where are all the vowels? All we get is a single ‘y’ in there. I thought ‘y’ was a “sometimes” vowel. No wonder I’m clueless when I type it out.

Phil Hellmuth Quotes

After Phil Hellmuth won his 10th WSOP bracelet yesterday, there couldn’t be a better time for the top 10 Phil Hellmuth quotes of all time.

I Need Time for a Redesign

I didn’t mean for that post title to rhyme, but it did and I’m not changing it.
I’ve wanted to pump out a redesign of MDV for a long time now. The homepage will get a drastic change with areas asides (what I call quickies here), recent full posts, flickr photos, links, menu, and who knows [...]

Most Expensive Round of Golf I've Played

Mom and Dad came by on Sunday for a quick little weekend trip and so that Dad and I could play some golf together. He’s beat me consistently over my golfing “career” and I’m OK with that. I’ve been improving year after year and finally have beaten him a few times this year. We enjoy [...]

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looks amazing! I loved the cartoon in my younger days.

Microsoft's Zune Project

The big news from Microsoft today was the confirmation of the Zune project. Just do a few searches and you’ll find plenty of information. I’m not writing about it to give any information or what it’s about. All I want to say is, don’t count them out.
Can Microsoft create a real competitor for Apple’s iPod? [...]

Review: Gillette Fusion Power

On the recommendation of my friend Casey I bought the Gillette Fusion Power about a month ago. This razor is a work of art.
Shaving has always been one of my least favorite things to do, but the Fusion Power is literally “changing the face of shaving.” Your first reaction might be that five blades is [...]

He's Baaaack

Tiger Woods is back. Two weeks ago he stormed back after a rough first round to finish tied for second place. Through 2 round of the 2006 British Open at Royal Liverpool, he’s shot -5 and -7 for a total of twelve under par which is currently good for a 3 shot lead. I doubt [...]

Tigers for Real?

Somebody pinch me. Our Detroit Tigers beat the defending Champion Chicago White Sox tonight to go up 5 1/2 games in the division. The Tigers’ records is 64-31. That’s 33 games over .500 for you math majors. Unbelievable!
