    If 3 players are left and the low stack goes all in, then the second lowest stack calls and raises all in against the big stack and the big stack wins, but the low stack beats the 2nd lowest stack, is it a split for 2nd place between the low stack and the second lowest stack? Or does the second lowest stack take 2nd because he covered the low stack and therefore had more chips than the low stack going in to the final hand? Please shed some insight.

    I’ll simplify it, because your explanation was pretty confusing…

    In most tournaments if two players go out on the same hand, the player who had more chips to start the hand gets the better finishing place.
