Apple Device Names

I’m not sure why I started, but I’ve been incorporating my actual name, “Nick” into the device name for all of my Apple devices. Currently I have:

NickBook – first generation black MacBook
nickPhone – first generation 8GB iPhone
iNick – 10 inch iMac purchased as soon as Leopard was released
nickTV – Apple TV purchased last week

Middle Names

Have you ever thought about your middle name? What purpose does a middle name serve? Nothing useful that I can come up with.
