Last year I was golfing on March 25th in short sleeves. Today there is still snow on the ground. Global warming my ass!

Roads are still a mess, but where do you put all that snow?

Wow do we have the snow! No end in sight until after midnight. Probably 8-10 inches so far. Accumulations up to 15 inches in some areas for this storm. I don’t see SVSU being open tomorrow.

Heading out for snow blowing #2 on the driveway today.

Blowing harder and snowing harder. I guess I better get the snowblower going.

On Tuesday it was a sunny 85 degrees here in Michigan and and Thursday night I mowed my lawn. Right now it’s in the low 30’s and snowing. Yes…it’s snowing in late April! There’s a Winter Weather Alert in effect through noon Sunday with up to 8 inches expected. Gotta love Michigan weather.

University Closing

Just got word a little while ago that SVSU is closing at noon because of all the snow on the way. Looks like I get to go home early and play!

1st Snowfall

Yesterday marked the first snowfall (at least in Saginaw), and I’ve decided that I’m not ready for it to snow yet. In fact, I’m not sure if I’ll be ready all winter. When I’m ready, I’ll let Mother Nature know. The thought of waking up a few minutes earlier than normal before [...]
